Rooibos (the Aspalathus linearis plant) has been used for hundreds of years by the "bush people" for natural remedies - realising its powerful and natural healing properties. Handpicked, and naturally dried under the African sun - it will only grow on the limestone slopes of the Cedarberg Mountains near Cape Town in South Africa. Rooibos is pronounced "roy+boss" - and due to its red colour is also often called Red Tea or Bush Tea.
