Here is a snippet of what you can look forward to...
The site as a whole will look and feel the same as it currently does, but with some significant improvements for you.
- New search function to allow you to find all the products you are interested in more quickly.
- Zoom / Gallery function on images, to allow you to see a much larger image of the item that you are interested in, and in many cases to see alternative images. This is particularly useful for items that are available in different patterns such as wraps.
- Create an account with friendlybaby.co.uk and track the progress of your order online. Creating an account with us will also save time with subsequent orders as your details will already be completed when you log in, so all you need to do is to check that your personal details have not changed and complete your order.
- Extra security, over and above the current internet norms. When you are on any secure page of the website, such as your account, or in the checkout process, you will see a green bar at the top of your browser (latest versions of browsers) - this is different in each browser, see examples below. In IE7 you will need the phishing filter switched on to see the green, but you really ought to have this switched on anyway. What this means in real terms for you is that friendlybaby.co.uk has been validated as a legitimate organisation, the website has been authenticated, and you are safe from security threats such as phishing attack, and other increasingly sophisiticated internet scams.
We know that you will like the new features that we are introducing, and while we hope that the new features will be up and running in the blink of an eye we can't rule out a few teething problems. If you try to place an order and experience any difficulties you can either email us with your order and we can call you back to take payment or send an electronic invoice for you to pay online, or you can call us to place your order in person (during normal working hours).
We'd love to hear what you think of the new features once they are available, and if you have any other feedback on any changes you'd like us to make in future we'd like to hear those too so please do let us know!
