Due to the continued thaw and the incredible effort by our drivers in all depots over the weekend, we have been able to deliver most parcels affected by the bad weather over the last two weeks. There are still some delays in the areas affected by the worst weather, namely in Scotland, North East England and South East London.
Whilst we haven’t been able to accept orders since the latter part of last week for the majority of Scottish postcodes, we will start accepting orders again for delivery into Scotland from Tuesday 14th December. However, in order for us to be able to deliver these parcels by Christmas, we will not be able to take any more orders after Friday 17th December - this will be the last despatch date for deliveries into Scotland before Christmas.
Please find below details of the Scottish postcodes which you will not be able to despatch to from Monday 20th December. We will review this later in the week when we have a better view of the anticipated weather conditions.
Aberdeen Depot - All AB postcodes, All ZE postcodes
Edinburgh Depot - All EH postcodes, All FK postcodes, KY1-4, KY11-12 & KY99, All TD postcodes
Glasgow Depot - All G postcodes, HS9, All KA postcodes, All ML postcodes, PA1-38 & PA41-78
Perth Depot - All DD postcodes, KY5-10 & KY13-16, PH1-26
We remain committed to continuing to deliver our normal high levels of service and would like to thank all our customers for their patience and understanding whilst we have been clearing the inevitable delays.
So if you live in one of the affected areas please order ASAP this week as we may not be able to dispatch until after Christmas otherwise!
